These images are part of a submission of photographs of sculptures located around Chesterfield. They were taken as part of a project run by the charity organisation Art UK.

In late 2019 the Royal Photographic society sent out a call for photographers who had the time and were willing to help the project. The aim is to photograph all artwork, including paintings and sculptures, on public view in the UK and to upload them to the internet so that they may be viewed by all.

Taking me nearly a year to locate and photograph over 70 sculptures it was a mammoth task indeed. It has been an interesting, enjoyable and a worthwhile project that has opened my eyes to just how many works of art there are installed in the UK, many of which we pass by without noticing.
